One price, with everything in it.
Lessons, group sessions, all three recitals and every community performance are part of tuition. There is no separate recital fee and nothing extra to pay in December. There is a $100 Annual registration fee for each student and a detailed contract is provided.

What tuition covers
- 35 private lessons, August through June
- Group sessions two or three times a month
- All 3 recitals
- The Christmas tour, every December
- Any other community performances the studio takes on that year
- Composer study, woven into lessons
- Music theory and music history
What it does not cover
An instrument. Children move up a size every year or two, so families usually rent rather than buy for the first several years. If a family wishes to purchase an insturment instead, Dr. Snyder will make appropriate recomendations.
The studio keeps a limited selection of string instruments for rent, across the fractional sizes, so in most cases you can rent one here. Rental is billed separately from tuition. Ask early, since stock runs out.
Getting sized
Bring the child to a first lesson. Dr. Snyder measures their arm, tells you the size, and checks whether the studio has one in stock to rent you.

How do the monthly payments work?
Eleven payments of $230, one a month across the August through June season. Paying the year in full up front instead brings it to $2,400, a saving of $130.
Can we rent an instrument from the studio?
Usually, yes. The studio keeps a limited selection of string instruments across the fractional sizes and rents them to students. Stock is finite, so it is worth asking on your first call. Rental is billed separately from tuition.
What if we join partway through the year?
Tuition is prorated to the lessons remaining in the season. Call and Dr. Snyder will work it out with you.
Are the performances really included?
Yes. All 3 recitals and the Christmas tour are part of tuition, along with anything else the studio plays that year. Fairs, wine tastings, and other events come up as the year allows, and those are included too.
